It has been a pleasure to work alongside Fiona over the years, I really admired her calm, skilled, kind, thoughtful way. I worked alongside her in her various roles as she grew within her roles. I am a midwife, Fiona always made you feel an important part of the team. I particularly appreciated her  kindness when I returned to work after the loss of my partner, she went out of her way to ask how I was doing. Several times stopping to give me a lift to work in her car. I was fortunate to spend some time in the metabolic clinic, and was really impressed by the level of her care for her patients, I was really priviledged to hear her speak at a study day discussing the Metabolic clinic and the care the women received. I am really sorry that life was very tough for her. She will be sadly missed.
