I met Fiona through the Staff Carols in the RIE Sanctuary, where she played flute and piccolo.

She told me, "I have played as part of the ‘band’ for the staff carol service for many years and my Christmas wouldn’t be the same without it."

No doubt Fiona 'made music' in the lives of many people, but I thought it might be appropriate to share this clip of her playing flute in 'Hark the Herald' from a band rehearsal.
