Fiona was in the year above me in medical school, and I knew her mostly through music as she played the flute really well. She shared her student flat with three others that I knew through orchestra and choir as well and so our paths crossed more through musical events and parties! As student life changed to work life, our paths crossed less until more recently, as both of us were working as academic clinicians though in different fields, and it was good to catch up again - though we never played flute together again!

This is a tragedy for Fiona, her family and us, as her workplace community, and I remember her with warmth.
