Fiona was one of my consultants during my time as an O&G trainee in Edinburgh. She was always so very kind, fun, and supportive, even amidst the chaos of clinical life. Despite her hugely impressive achievements, she was also so down to earth and approachable. I will always be grateful for the empathy and honesty she extended to me when I was trying to find the right path in medicine. A real role model with so many characteristics to aspire towards. I hope her family and friends find comfort in reading through all of the lovely comments and take pride in the huge and far-reaching impact that both her personality and work have had on the obstetric world.
