Fiona was an amazing woman. I am so proud to have known her and to have had her as a friend and colleague. She got me though the challenges of my time in research with kindness, good humour and her amazing intelligence and patience. She was an outstanding clinician who inspired confidence in her patients and those working with her. Above all, she was always kind to all she met. I will miss her greatly. Carolyn
