I worked with Fiona a few times as the anaesthetic registrar for labour ward. I was always in awe that someone of her status was so down to earth. But what struck me the most that she was such an advocate for the women she looked after. But on a personal level she came to see me after I had my first daughter. I’d been quite unwell and she was so patient and kind, especially when I was very upset and overwhelmed. I send my sincere condolences to her family and friends. She will be so missed by so many, that is clear
