In 2002 Fiona was my 'go to' person for help with the Scottish Stillbirth and Neonatal Deaths audit which I administered for several years. She was a huge part of the Centre for Reproductive Health, including being heavily involved in the bid to bring the Tommy's Centre to Edinburgh. We all helped with that. I remember Fiona asking me to go and get some presentation folders for the bid, at the time the hospital had no shops so I had to dash to the University Potterrow shop and eventually bought some blue folders. After the bid was won, we used to joke about the blue folders tipping the balance in Edinburgh's favour. When Fiona became a Professor I jokingly said to her that we would need to curtsey. I can still hear her saying 'Don't be ridiculous!' Fiona was a shining star in the reproductive health universe and I will cherish the memories of working with her. Heartfelt condolences to Fiona's family.
