Fiona was a research star in our Medical Research Council Centre for Reproductive Health. She had vision to produce outstanding research and had exciting plans about the use of wearable technologies to improve reproductive outcomes. Her clinical and academic work had significantly improved women’s lives. It indicated the value of basic science to clinical translation especially in the context of deep knowledge of the medical problems. Fiona was always a pleasure to talk with, enthusiastic and pushing to get her novel ideas implemented. She is a huge loss to my Centre and the University.
