I first heard of Fiona when I was chatting to Stewart Irvine at a meeting many years ago.  I can remember his saying that he had this incredibly talented obstetric registrar working with him- the best he had ever known and how fortunate O & G was to have someone of such talent.  Some time later I met Fiona and what a pleasure.  I am not an obstetrician so can't comment on Stewart's professional view, but to me you were someone who was always so supportive, open and friendly.  One of those people you always enjoy sitting down to share a coffee and chat with.  I will really miss you as do so many of your friends and colleagues.
