I have only the most positive memories of working with Fiona during my anaesthetic training in Simpson’s at the Royal Infirmary from 2007-2015 and was both shocked and saddened to hear of her death. Reading the other thoughts and messages here, I realise just how inspirational, how kind, how warm and how talented she was and how big a loss her passing is for all who knew and loved her. I only hope these words and memories offer some comfort to Fiona’s family in the difficult days ahead. Mark Ross
