Fiona was a committee member and Vice-Chair of the Medical Technologies Advisory Committee (MTAC) at NICE during my tenure as Chair. In addition to her considerable clinical and academic achievements, Fiona was dedicated to the work of MTAC and gave her time and energy generously to the work of the committee. She was much respected by her colleagues. Intelligent, probing and insightful she also brought humour, lightness and perspective to our meetings. She was greatly valued and will be sorely missed.
