I always enjoyed working with Fiona. She was a wonderful person to collaborate with. She effortlessly bridged the gap between Clinical Sciences and my own field of Engineering. She will undoubtedly have a lasting impact upon the lives of a great many people, including family, friends and colleagues, the patients she directly attended, and those who benefitted (or have still yet to benefit) from the new medical technologies she developed. She was also a wonderfully caring and thoughtful person, who offered me personal support and advice at an important and difficult time in my life, and for which I am very thankful. Someone to respect. Someone to trust. Someone who will missed greatly.
